I just recently found out that my grandfather, John Fernie, painted the covers to a whole bunch of old pulp novels in the 50’s. I love the illustrations that go with old trashy pulps, and so this is exceptionally cool to me. So… here are a few. If there’s anything to be learned from them, it’s that ladies can’t be trusted and are likely to be carrying the tiniest of guns.
Also, one of those books was written by “Edgar Lustgarten.” I really, really hope that isn’t a pseudonym.
